The 2008 VJCS AGM was held Tuesday Oct 19, 2008 from 7:15 to 8:00 at First Metropolitan Church (Quadra and Balmoral)  Thank You to the First Metropolitan Church for the meeting space.

Budget and Treasurers report  circulated at AGM  surplus 370.25  medals and ribbons inventory good. CYCC coming up this year should have a neutral effect on budget. Annual fee is $10 for members. (fee can be paid at the agm) Suggestion for this year - Reduce annual tournament fee by $10 for members.

Anyone may join the Victoria Junior Chess Society (est. 2000)

Please plan on attending and if you are able to assist there are a number of positions available for volunteers.
